Duties
The incumbent serves as Logistics and Budget Assistant for the Office of Security Cooperation. Manages the delivery and transfer of U.S. provided defense articles to the Cameroon Armed Forces in accordance with U.S. policies. Coordinates and executes transportation, lodging, and procurement support for office personnel and visitors. Performs Budget Analyst duties for the Office of Security Cooperation with the responsibility of supervising the complete range of budget administration for all funding assigned from Department of State/Department of Defense to the Office of Security Cooperation.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: At least three (03) years of experience in the field of accounting, finance, management, or business administration is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of administrative functions and office operations including operating various office machines is required. Required to be capable, organized, and knowledgeable in areas of budget management and logistics. Knowledge of protocol and rank within the military is required. Familiarity with Cameroon military structures and programs is required.
Education Requirements:
Higher National Diploma (HND) or Brevet de Technicien Superieur (BTS) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or its equivalence of two (02) years University studies is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Good Working Knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking) in both English and French is required. This may be tested.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Great organizational skills and sound judgement are required. Must be able to work on MS Office software suites at the intermediate level (Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook etc). Ability to write official correspondence in English is required. Ability to demonstrate personal and relational skills to receive official visitors and to coordinate with senior host nation officials is required. Must have a current category B driver’s license with five years minimum validity. This may be tested.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Yaoundé – Cameroon may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
