Duties
The incumbent will assist the Facility Manager in overseeing various responsibilities, including maintenance, repairs, work orders, landscaping, janitorial work, make-ready projects, and overall customer service. These duties are aimed at maintaining a safe and well-maintained workplace and housing. Additionally, the incumbent will act as an Assistant Post Occupational Safety and Health Officer (A/POSHO) when required. This is a full-time position that requires a secret-level clearance.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative or supervisory position is required. (One credited year of working experience is equal to 40 hours/week x 52 weeks or 2080 hours).
Education Requirements:
Completion of Secondary School or Local Mandatory Schooling and receipt of a high school diploma. (U.S. education equivalency certification/transcript is required if studied in a foreign college/university).
Evaluations:
Language: English (Good Working Knowledge) in speaking, reading, and writing is required. (This may be tested).
Skills and Abilities: Basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel) and typing skills (30 wpm) are required. (This may be tested).

Benefits:
Agency Benefits: Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs) working at the U.S. Mission in Yaounde, Cameroon, may receive a compensation package that includes health, separation, and other benefits. For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office. The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
