General Services Officer – Supporting Mission Operations

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our dynamic General Services (GS) team at the U.S. Mission in Yaounde, Cameroon. This is a full-time, sensitive position requiring a “secret” security clearance.
What you’ll do:
Assist senior GS staff in managing daily operations across Procurement, Warehouse, Shipping/Customs, Motor Pool, Housing, and Travel departments.
Ensure timely and efficient support to all Mission staff and International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) subscribers.
Coordinate residential commissioning and preparation activities.
Participate in special event support for up to 90 days per year.
What we’re looking for:
Experience: Two years of general administrative work experience required.
Education: High school diploma or local equivalent mandatory.
Language: Strong English reading, speaking, and writing skills (good working knowledge).
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a “secret” security clearance.
